You may also mark “Going” to this event on our BPDSO Facebook page. \n\n\n\nHow much does it cost? \n\n\n\nThere are no fees associated with this hike\, but there is a $5 per person park usage fee\, payable at the park entrance. \n\n\n\nHow strenuous is the hike? \n\n\n\nThe trail is approximately 4.3 miles in length and is considered moderately difficult. Some scrambling may be required. The group will travel at a slower pace\, and our experienced group facilitators will ensure that no one is left behind. \n\n\n\nWhat should I bring? \n\n\n\nWe recommend you dress in layers in comfortable hiking attire with sturdy footwear. We also recommend you bring a hat\, sunscreen\, water (at least 1 liter for every two hours)\, and snacks. \n\n\n\nAre pets allowed? \n\n\n\nPer park rules\, pets are allowed. During this trek\, we’ll explore San Diego’s most famous mountain\, Cowles\, as well as Pyles\, Kwaay Paay\, and North and South Fortuna peaks. This hike will reinvigorate your adventurous spirit with fresh air\, stunning views\, and positive vibes. By doing so\, we are able to send out updates\, to include training opportunities\, and keep you abreast of any changes regarding this event! \n\n\n\nHow much does it cost? \n\n\n\nThere is no fee.  \n\n\n\nHow strenuous is the hike? \n\n\n\nThis challenge is approximately 17 miles in length with 4\,416 feet of elevation gain and is considered moderately difficult.  \n\n\n\nWhat should I bring? \n\n\n\nAlong with good vibes\, we recommend you dress in comfortable hiking attire with sturdy footwear.
